The Canadian government has announced that it will introduce new measures to streamline the immigration process in order to attract highly skilled workers. This includes introducing the Express Entry Program, which will allow applicants to apply for permanent residency without having to wait for an invitation letter from Immigration Canada.

 

Know what you need to include in your profile.

In order to make sure that you meet the requirements of the Express Entry Program criteria, you must understand what you need to include in your profile. You should include details such as your education, working experience, language skills, age, and any other relevant information.

 

The steps are given below:

Step 1: Determine your Express Entry Program eligibility as the first step.

Step 2: Pass your language test and get your academic qualifications evaluated (ECA).

Step 3: Submit your resume to the website of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Step 4: Hold off on applying for permanent residence until you hear from IRCC with an invitation to apply (ITA).

Step 5: Finish filling out your Application for Permanent Residence (APR) and send it, along with your fee payment, to IRCC by the deadline. You must attach copies of your police clearance and medical examination at this step. You will then receive an Acknowledgement of Receipt from IRCC.

Step 6: Submit your biometric information when IRCC requests it.

Step 7: Keep an eye out for the IRCC’s final determination of your APR. The IRCC hopes to process applications in no more than six months.

 

Create an account with the TEER system.

If you are planning to apply for permanent residence through the Express Entry program, then you should start preparing your application now. This includes creating an account with TEER System. Once you have created an account, you will be able to access the online platform where you can upload documents, complete forms, and submit applications.

 

Upload documents.

You need to upload documents such as your resume, cover letter, references, and any other supporting documentation. Additionally, you can upload images and videos.

 

Documents for your profile

You can submit a profile without including any files, although you might need information from some or all of the following files:

• A passport or other means of travel
• Venezuelans with passports: When you create a profile or fill out an application, you might need to take additional steps.

• Results of language tests
• For immigration purposes, evidence of Canadian education or a report on the evaluation of educational credentials

• You’re submitting an application via the Federal Skilled Workers Program, or
• You want to be credited for your education outside of Canada.

• the province nominating (if you have one)
• Please submit your resume, proof of your employment history, and a certificate from a Canadian province or territory attesting to your trade certification if you have received a written job offer from a Canadian employer.
• evidence of money
• proof of relationship to a relative in Canada
• digital photos to confirm your identity
• other names to confirm aliases
• authority to release personal information to a designated individual form
• any additional files that you deem necessary for your application

 

Documents for your application for permanent residence

The documents you used to create your profile must be uploaded if we extend an application invitation to you. Most applicants also need to upload the following:

• police certificates
• medical exams
• proof of funds
• birth certificate
  • Declaring dependent children requires this form
• application of a representative form (PDF, 137 KB)
  • If you have hired a representative, this is required
• common-law union form (PDF, 2.22 MB)
  • If you have indicated that you are a “common-law” couple, this is necessary.
• marriage certificate
  • You must provide this information if you have declared your marital status as “married”
• divorce certificate and legal separation agreement
  • If you have declared your marital status as “divorced,” this is required
• death certificate
  • If you have declared your marital status as “widowed,” this form is required
• adoption certificate
  • when a dependent child is listed as “adopted,” it is required

 

Other documents

You are only required to send these if we specifically requested them in your customized document checklist. You run the risk of having your application refused or denied if you don’t provide these documents. They are only used to assess your eligibility for the program for which you are applying.

 

Start filling out the forms.

Once you have submitted your online application, you will receive an email with instructions on where to send your documents. If you do not receive an email within two weeks after submitting your application, contact us at [email protected]

 

Fill out the online form

The first step in applying to immigrate to Canada as a skilled worker is to submit your profile to the Express Entry Program.

If you qualify, we will:

• put you in a pool with other people who are qualified
• give you a score and rank you based on a number of criteria.
• invite you (if you are one of the top candidates) to submit an application to become a permanent resident of Canada

Only if we issue you an invitation to apply online are you able to do so.

You won’t always be invited to submit an application for the permanent residence just because you filled out an online Express Entry Application profile or entered the pool.

 

Submit your application.

You must submit your application by the deadline. However, there is no need to worry because we will help you complete your application before the deadline. We will also provide you with tips and tricks to make sure your application is ready for submission.
